Resume Basics
A few things to remember as you begin writing your resume:
- Your resume should be 1-2 pages. Employers spend 15-30 seconds looking at your resume the first time.
- Your resume should be neat and have no spelling or grammar errors.
- The purpose of a resume is to get an interview.
- It is ok to use a resume template from Microsoft Word, but sometimes they are hard to revise. So, we recommend using some examples and starting with a blank Word document and creating your own formatting.
