Design Technology
This program offers Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Science degrees with concentrations in Mechanical, Architectural, Civil and CAD/M technology. Graduates of the Design Tech program are qualified to pursue rewarding careers as drafters, design assistants, CAD operators and technicians in a wide variety of industries. The associate of science degrees are articulated with Indiana State University for Ivytech graduates to transfer to ISU directly to the junior lever and complete a baccalaureate degree.
During your studies at Ivy Tech, you will learn the concepts, gain hands-on experience and learn popular computer aided drafting (CAD) packages used in industries. For those busy working adults, you can complete your degree entirely via distance education as this program also available completely over the Internet. We’ve had distance education graduates from CA, PA, TX, OR, etc. This program is accreditated by National Association of Industrial Technology.
