if I’ve already completed a college degree?
A. Have your
official college transcripts sent to Terre Haute Ivy Tech to be evaluated. The
evaluation will determine what classes will transfer and what additional
courses need to be completed.

the RAD TECH program?
A. The actual
Radiology Program is two years. However,
because admission into the program is conditional…it often takes more than two
years. The exact length will depend on
your specific general education requirement and performance.

A. RAD TECH
courses are only offered during the daytime hours. General Education
courses can be completed day, evening, or via the Internet

students are selected into the RAD program each fall?
A. Students are
selected into the program each fall, based on clinical availability. Students
are selected based on their performance in general education courses and the
required interview.
Q. How do I
specialize in Ultrasound Tech? Do you offer that?
A. Students are
exposed to many specialties in their second year of the
program, however we do not CURRENTLY train for the
ULTRASOUND SPECIALTY.

Q. How much does
the RAD TECH program cost?
A. On an average the RAD TECH program can cost between $6000.00 and $8000.00. (Books, Tools, Classes, Uniforms and gas to drive to Clinicials.)
Q. In this field will students be exposed to people with blood wounds and needles?
A. Yes, students will rotate through the ER,
Surgery, Morgue, etc… and will work with IV contrast.
