Phi Theta Kappa-Events
PTK will be selling Easter baskets as a fundraiser for future up-coming events. If you wish to help pick out the baskets or would like to purchase one, please see a PTK officer or advisor. We will be taking orders for the Easter Baskets the week of April 3.
Matter in Motion will take place on April 8. PTK will be selling hot dogs at the event. If you would like to help out with the activities, please see a PTK officer or advisor for further details.
Reminder! Our next general PTK meeting will be on April 11th at both 12:00 and 5:00. Many activities are still un-planned for the 2006 spring semester; all PTK members and officers are invited to participate!
Gradfest will take place on April 12th; graduates who have ordered stoles and tassels may pick them up on that day.
Phi Theta Kappa’s 2006 International Conference will take place in Seattle, Washington on April 18th thru the 23rd. Key speakers will include former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Emmy award-winning journalist and author Cokie Roberts, and former 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai.
Ivy Tech will have an Open House of Sunday, April 30th from 1:00 to 3:00. PTK will be serving food for the open house; please see a PTK officer or advisor if you would like to help out.
Upcoming PTK meetings
PTK meetings are held on the second week of each month on Tuesday at both 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you have any questions please contact a PTK officer or advisor.
