Chancellor's Welcome
On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of Ivy Tech Community College - Wabash Valley Region, I welcome you. As you will discover, the College offers a wide array of academic programs and services designed to meet your educational and workforce preparation needs. Choices from extensive academic program offerings in business, health, public services, technology, visual communications and general education are available. The Wabash Valley Region offers courses and programs at the South Highway 41 Campus, the Center for Workforce Development Campus, the Martin Luther King Center, the Sullivan Learning Center, and the Greencastle Campus. Courses are also offered at Learning Centers including Clinton, Rockville, and White River Valley High School.

Many of our courses and programs transfer to four-year colleges and universities. With the lowest tuition rate in the State, Ivy Tech Community College offers an outstanding value to the citizens of Indiana who desire a technical certificate or two-year degree, or who may plan to eventually transfer to a four-year institution upon meeting their educational objective with Ivy Tech.

In addition to a wide selection of traditional on-campus courses and programs, the Terre Haute Campus is also the leader of Internet-delivered distance education in the State. Entire degree programs are available online that can provide students with flexible scheduling alternatives while taking courses at the College. Be sure to discuss distance education options with Admissions staff when contacting the College for course information.

The Wabash Valley Region provides extensive Continuing Education offerings, as well as customized training and education for area business and industry. The Workforce and Economic Development, located at the Center for Workforce Development, provides many assessment and training services to the citizens and businesses of the Greater Terre Haute area.

I thank you for your interest in Ivy Tech Community College, and encourage you to stop in and visit our campuses. If I can be of any assistance to you, do not hesitate to contact me.

Jeff Pittman, Ph.D. Chancellor
